Created by looking into Dr. Martens archive for design inspiration, these styles have been replicated to look as they were when first manufactured. The specification on leather, colour and method of manufacture is precise. A more traditional biscuit-backed leather has been used, colour-matched to archive samples that came out of the factory in the earlier days of Dr. Martens.

The last shape is shallower and the sole colour has also been altered to match the older shade. This is a Goodyear-welted product meaning the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, not merely glued like many footwear constructions. Dr. Martens air-cushion sole is oil and fat-resistant and offers good abrasion and slip resistance.

Care Instructions

● Clean away dirt using a damp cloth and allow to dry, then apply a Dr. Martens Neutral or colour wax shoe polish as appropriate to restore shine as desired. Do not use any leather cleaners as they could damage the two-tone effect.

Construction

● This is a Goodyear-welted product. The upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, not merely glued like many footwear constructions.
